When Kuwait Energy (KEBL) needed a fireground for their oilfield in Basra, Iraq they short-listed SEFtec as a preferred supplier. Rather than shipping all of the large props from Ireland, SEFtec worked with KEBLs chosen contractor to have the props manufactured locally, with the SEFtec Fire Control Modules being shipped from Ireland and connected on-site.

SEFtec designed all the props to work seamlessly with the modular fire control system. Two of the small props were fully manufactured in Ireland to demonstrate the functionality and train the contractors on the correct installation and operation of the equipment.
The remaining props were built remotely and inspected by third parties to ensure compliance with SEFtec design requirements. The contractor then installed them on the site with SEFtec available for remote support.
