Qatari Ministry of Defence video features custom SEFtec HUET

The MoD of Qatar has posted a video showing their Naval Special Forces training in the custom HUET delivered by SEFtec Group. In slow motion, the distinctive engine cover is seen being lowered into the blacked-out pool. Inside, trainees take their last big breath before submerging, flipping upside down and then making their escape.

Who needs a Minibus Fire Prop?

The SEFtec minibus fire prop is a life-sized replica of a minibus with five gas-fueled fires integrated into it. The prop features hinged and sliding passenger doors as well as rear luggage compartment. The cabin interior includes a drivers seat complete with steering column, front passenger seat and four rows of rear cabin seating with over-head luggage racks.

What is a HUET? A quick introduction

A dunker (also called a HUET, helo dunker, or ditcher) is a type of helicopter simulator that replicates the helicopter’s cabin. It is specifically designed to be submerged into a pool and filled with water. Not only does the dunker submerge in the water, but it can also rotate to replicate what can happen in a real water landing.

Even more SEFtec fire props delivered to Petans Ltd, UK

Earlier this summer, SEFtec delivered two advanced fire training props to Petans Ltd in Norwich, UK. The props, a helicopter fire prop and a minibus fire prop, add to the extensive suite of SEFtec fire training props already in use on the prestigious site. Both props are gas-fueled, allowing advanced control and integrated safety features.
